Hungry for Love

Celine Manz's 'Hungry For Love' was created in collaboration with Xavier Fernandez Fuentes. Growing up, she dreamed of writing her own novels. Blessed with synesthesia, reading always triggered an outpouring of colours. She now calls herself a visual artist and is inspired by the works of Pipilotti Rist and Roman Signer. With 'Hungry For Love', she co-opts the visual language of advertising and fashion photography. Manipulating photos from an infamous Terry Richardson campaign 'found' on the internet, she calls into question the ownership, rights and control of art in a digital age. Blown up and displayed on billboards across the city, these images have come full circle.
