Ruth first discovered her love of painting at age eight and knew, from that moment, that she'd become an artist (or archaeologist). Her favourite creatures are guinea pigs and the mysterious flying dog. She now creates striking collages and compositions from old photos books and painted paper. Harvesting images from her ever-growing archive, she folds, cuts, sticks and paints her source material to reveal the surreal universe that lies within.
